What is involved?
The entire study is conducted online so everything is done by email and on the web. Over the next few pages you will be:
- given a full description of the study including its procedure,
- told about the risks and benefits,
- asked to give your consent to participating,
- informed that your participation is voluntary and anonymous.
What then?
After you have given your consent you will be:
- contacted by email and welcomed to the study,
- asked to complete a series of online questionnaires,
- directed to an online support group and given some guidance.
Who is running the study?
The research is based at University College London. The principal researchers are Jeremy Dean, a researcher at UCL, Dr Chris Barker, a clinical psychologist at UCL and Dr Henry Potts, a lecturer at UCL.
